NANCY BOYD, PT, DPT, FAFS, CFMT, CAPP-OB
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Fellow of Applied Functional Science
Certified Functional Manual Therapist

(She/her)

CAPP-OB Certified through American Physical Therapy Section on Women's Health
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Nancy Boyd is a sports medicine, orthopedic and pelvic health trained Doctor of Physical Therapy who has invested her career in continuing to pursue advanced education in these areas in order to provide her clients with the most effective, holistic and individualized treatment approach she can. Nancy is an athlete herself, having participated in division I collegiate cross country and track. She spent the majority of her time in collegiate sports overtrained, undernourished, and injured, and is forever thankful to all of the people on her journey who taught her how to compassionately care for herself and others and started her on the path to becoming a physical therapist. Nancy has combined this background with her pelvic floor physical therapy training to specialize in perinatal sports medicine. Too often she sees birthing people deal with long standing injuries that limit their ability to keep up with their kiddos, return to the sports they love, or resume pleasurable intimacy with a partner. She wants all birthing people to know that there is so much hope, support, and healing available right now. The path forward can be an empowering one and you deserve it. Out of the office Nancy practices what she preaches and is a mother runner and mover who soaks up time with her husband, toddler, and friends at local coffee shops and out on the trails.
